To the Thetford & District Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association, Branch Number 996.  The Royal Air Forces Association or RAF Association is a membership organisation and registered charity that provides welfare support to the RAF family. Receiving no government contributions, our work is completely funded by the generosity of our members and through vital donations from our supporters in the general public and from businesses. A great supporter of the Thetford and District Branch is no. 1109 (Thetford) Squadron Air Training Corps.

As a branch we are very proactive with lots going on. We have monthly Branch meetings usually held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Sergeants' Mess at RAF Honington. In addition to our monthly meetings, Branch members meet for an informal lunch once a month usually on the third Friday of each month. Branch Social Evenings are held four times a year, with our December event being a more formal Christmas Dinner.
